Dentures
Whether you are missing a few teeth or all your teeth, we can help you determine the best way to replace them. Complete dentures or partial dentures are removable options to replace missing teeth. We work with the best labs in the area to fabricate the most natural-looking dentures possible. Over several appointments, we will record the existing tissues of the mouth and use several measurements to create the proper fit and function. Implants are often considered to help retain the dentures as best as possible.
Emergency Dental Care
While our goal is to prevent our patients from having any dental emergency, we can’t control everything. Whether you are having a toothache or experienced trauma to a tooth, call us to help determine the next step.
Cleanings and Periodontal Disease Treatment
At Waterford Dental, our team of Registered Dental Hygienists’ top priority is patient care and comfort. Oral health problems are much easier to prevent than they are to treat. Getting your teeth cleaned at least twice a year will keep your gums and teeth functional, healthy, and looking good! Our hygienists will remove the dental plaque and tartar from your teeth. Yes, brushing and flossing at home definitely helps keep your teeth healthy, but only a dental professional can remove all of the bacteria from your teeth.
Don’t worry about your children or other family members who may be nervous about visiting the dentist. At Waterford Dental, we prioritize creating a safe and anxiety-free environment, providing gentle and cautious care.
Bridges replace missing teeth by connecting them to the adjacent teeth. The surrounding teeth will be evaluated for stability prior to being prepared for a bridge. Once completed, bridges are cemented into place and function well to restore chewing function and esthetics.
Crowns provide support to teeth that are fractured or have significant missing tooth structure. A crown is designed to look and feel like your natural tooth and is cemented or bonded into place.
When a tooth has permanent damage to the nerve, root canal therapy is indicated. You may know you need treatment if your tooth is extra sensitive to temperatures, followed by an ache or pain with biting. Root canal therapy often gets a bad reputation for being uncomfortable. However, the opposite is true; root canal therapy is what gets rid of your pain!
Our dentists and hygienists at Waterford Dental can place sealants. The molars toward the back of the mouth contain deep grooves that are excellent for chewing food. However, food debris and plaque can easily get caught in these pits and attract cavity-causing bacteria. Dental sealants create a protective barrier that helps prevent cavities. We can quickly and painlessly apply a thin, tooth-colored resin over the chewing surface of the molars, sealing out bacteria and food particles. While dental sealants are most commonly given to children, we can also use them to help adult patients who have an increased risk of tooth decay.
Advances in dental materials allow us to use tooth-colored fillings everywhere in your mouth. Fillings are often placed due to a chip or cavity. The diseased tooth structure is removed, and then tooth-colored material fills in the missing area.
